Happy Friday friends! And happy July! Any fun plans for the Fourth? If I am being honest, it doesn’t really feel like a holiday weekend.I finally did hang this flag on the porch which has helped get me more in the spirit. I know everything around us has been cancelled or postponed- and while I know it is for the best I still miss the good ol’ days. Our normal tradition to go watch the Peachtree Road Race and then see fireworks has all been postponed. But we will still have a little getaway to North Georgia to visit with family – and I am always thankful for a change of scenery! We then head to the beach for our annual beach getaway and I cannot wait for some Vitamin Sea.

OUR BABY IS SIX

Sweet B is officially six and we celebrated with Mincraft cake, sprinklers and a few neighborhood friends. Love this sweet boy and cannot wait for his kindergarten adventure to begin.

BEDROOM MAKEOVER FOR SWEET P

I got a wild hair last weekend and decided it was time to tackle Sweet P’s room. I spent the entire weekend purging, cleaning, sorting and rearranging. Since he will be nine in August and with the potential for more home school in the fall- I decided it was high time to get his bedroom more age appropriate and functional with storage and a work space. It has been a hot mess for way too long. He went from a cute big boy room in our old house, to a jumbled mess when we moved. And the last three years it has progressively gotten more chaotic in here.

So let’s take a look at the before pictures, I will be sharing updates each week as a fun way to keep track of the progress. Who knows how long it will take, but my goal is to have it wrapped up by the time school starts. And please no judgement, these are real life 8 year old boy bedroom snapshots- including dirty clothes and unmade beds!
