It’s Friday which means it’s Front Porch Coffee Talk time again. Wow, this one came SO fast! So let’s grab our coffee and have a quick chat, shall we?
I snapped this picture on the front porch quickly as I was walking out the door last weekend to head to Coastal Mississippi. We had a great trip and I will be sharing the recap soon.
BLACK ROMPER (similar) | STRAW CROSS BODY BAG | EARRINGS
When it came time to pack for the trip last weekend, I was digging around in my closet for something comfy and cute to wear. Although I have never felt like I could pull off a romper, I decided to create my own using some black paper bag shorts and a black blouse from my closet. It was so comfy and classic! I may just have to try a romper after all! But if you’ve been hesitant on a romper, maybe you already have similar pieces in your closet that you could pair together too!
Look at this adorable plate that we were gifted as a thank you for serving on the preschool Board of Directors. The blue hydrangea was made from Sweet B’s fingerprints! So so sweet.
Speaking of blue hydrangeas. On my morning walks this week, I couldn’t resist snapping some pictures around the neighborhood. This was my fave and now I am convinced I need some orange day lilies in my life.
Our friends sweet little girl spent some time in the hospital last weekend and the boys wanted to bring her flowers. What a thrill to be able to collect all of these from the yard! Our Gardenia exploded this year, did yours?
I had to document a CLEAN STAIRCASE this week! I repeat, the staircase was clean.
That is… until I zoomed in and noticed a big red Nerf dart and Legos stacked on the top step. Ha. I guess I don’t even see it anymore…
Also, don’t you LOVE this new art I put by the stairs? It’s called Poolside Piano Practice and the little boy playing the piano wearing a mask and flippers just speaks to me! #BOYMOM
We had our second swim meet this week and the boys had fun playing with these waterproof UNO cards. We are LOVING swim team- it’s our first time doing it and although the meets are long, it’s been a great experience. I would love any tips on how you pass the time at meets!
Happy weekend!
xoxo-
Heather
Have a great weekend!
