Oh HELLO! How are we doing on this lovely fall day? Things are great around here! I have really focused my week on staying home to get things done around the house rather than running around doing errands. It really did help as I feel like I made some great progress on projects around the house and feel much more caught up on laundry and organizing. The hubs and I are sneaking away on a company retreat to The Gasperilla Inn this week and I cannot wait to check it out. Definitely been on my travel bucket list and glad we can get this trip in before the holiday craze.

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS
We are two weeks away from celebrating these to high school sweetheart’s 50th Wedding Anniversary. If you don’t know me personally, these are my cute parents back on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend- November 27th, 1971. And what are the chances that their 50th Anniversary falls on a Saturday this November 27th, 2021? We have a big party/family reunion planned for our Thanksgiving weekend down in Florida and are expecting lots of family from both sides of the family. This plan was hatched months ago and I can’t believe it’s only two weeks away now!
THANKSGIVING INSPIRATION
Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year? We are doing an early Thanksgiving with my husbands family and then will be at the big 50th SHINDIG with my family for later part of the week. If you are looking for some inspiration, click here to all my past Thanksgiving posts. Like that time I turned our Halloween pumpkin into a Thanksgiving vase…
HOUSE PAINTING
Who knew there were so many shades of white? We are in the midst of trying to figure out what color to paint the house. Here we have White Duck, Shoji, Oyster White, Whit Dove, Alabaster, China White…
For those of you that have lived through this decision, congratulations. I feel like I am deciding on what to name my child.
Stay tuned for the final decision!
WRAPPING PAPER NOOK
If you follow me on stories you already got a peek at my Wrapping Paper Nook. This little nook has been evolving for months and I took some time this week to “Christmas-ify” it up. I will be sharing all of the full details on this space next week.

I first started following you because of your beautiful Christmas tree filled with Nut Crackers. I have a love of them and had several but had never put them on the tree. Now, the tree is empty without them. I also model my front porch after you every year 🙂 You have a happy copy-catter 🙂

Happy Golden Anniversary to your parents! My husband and I will celebrate our 50th also on 11/27 which is also our actual wedding date. We are hosting a dinner party for 25 at a local restaurant on Saturday evening 11/27. The group comprises the groomsmen & spouses and the bridesmaids & spouses as well as a few family members. After all these years we are fortunate to have only one groomsman not with us (deceased).

Oh wow! That is awesome that you are also celebrating your 50th on the same day. That just makes me feel so happy to read. Sounds like a great celebration you have planned. Thank you for sharing and congrats on this milestone.
