WELCOME SUMMER

Snapped this before school yesterday. Notice one is missing a belt, and the other isn’t wearing shoes. To say we are hanging on by a thread at this point is an understatement! Summer couldn’t come soon enough for these two.

HEART BROKEN.

It has been an emotional few days and I have found myself just driving and sobbing several times as I think about the unbelievable sorrow the parents of those precious children are feeling. I do feel like we are at a tipping point and I hope that schools can become a safe haven across our country again.

KICKING OFF SUMMER AT 30-A

With school officially out for the summer, we are kicking things off down on 30-A this week! Should be lots of fun with a group of kids and parents, and I can’t wait to have my toes in the sand. Here we are last year in our happy place!

SUMMER STYLE

My plan is to share a weekly “Summer Style” post with you here every Wednesday this summer. Hopefully it will help inspire some fun summer looks for you! It’s always an “interesting” time to blog with the kids home and lots of travel and on the go days. You can catch up on the posts so far HERE.

FIRST SWIM MEET

We had our first swim meet of the year this past Monday. Both boys did great and continue to impress me with their willingness to just GO FOR IT.

NEW PAINT FOR BACK DOORS

When we painted the house last December, we had the doors painted the same color as the gutters. BIG. MISTAKE.

It had been driving me nuts ever since… so I am THRILLED that they are now Requisite Gray- the same color as our shutters in the front.

SO. MUCH. BETTER!

TRADER JOE’S FIND

If you spot this in your Trader Joe’s pick some up! My girlfriends were all going bananas over it last week so I decided to go find some. Apparently it comes out once a year, and once it’s gone- it’s gone. It did not disappoint- smells so good!
