Happy Easter weekend my friends! It’s a windy cool day here and we are expecting lots of rain on Sunday, but overall one of the greatest blessings of this quarantine has been the spring weather in Atlanta. Another week of quarantine in the books and it’s hard to believe it’s already been four weeks. We are holding up pretty well all things considered. Honestly, even though there is lots of extra “time” I have been having a hard time finding any to check in here with you! Even though the boys keep themselves busy with school and playing, it still seems to feel hectic. I would love to hear your quarantine confessions, so grab your coffee and meet me on the porch for this week’s Front Porch Coffee Talk.
EASTER DECOR
Honestly, I am not feeling super festive this year and still need to go get the Easter baskets out of the attic. But I did grab this bunny for the wreath and declared it “Easter” around here. Have you added any Easter decor? It just doesn’t feel the same knowing that we won’t be hosting friends and family, and I just let myself off the hook this year!
HOME SCHOOL WIN OF THE WEEK
The boys have a nice long break this weekend in honor of Easter which has actually been really nice to have a break from home school. But we did have a fun home school win this week that I thought I would share. This is my preschooler’s teacher sharing a fun lava lamp science experiment. We happened to have all of the ingredients on hand and it was a simple project that the boys enjoyed. Here are the boys showing it off with a flashlight!
We also put up a small tent last weekend and had a fun little “outing” in the front yard. We didn’t attempt to sleep inside, but it was still a fun activity for my crew. We do have a full size tent and still may attempt a full back-yard-camp-out sometime soon.
OUTDOOR RUG SALE
Target is having a great sale on outdoor rugs including the one I grabbed for our front porch this year – this Blue Striped Outdoor Rug. This was the only new purchase I made (besides two new ferns) and I am SO thankful that I spruced up the porch right before we went into lock down. I have truly spent more hours out on this porch in the past four weeks than I probably have in the past three years we have lived here! I see that the buffalo check rug that I had last year is also still in stock (in green and black) and included in the sale as well.

EASTER RECIPE
Last year, I shared this banana pudding recipe and it actually went “viral” on Pinterest which has been a fun experience. It’s a yummy and festive dessert for Easter, and even if you are feeding a smaller group- would be a great addition to your Easter menu. I am planning on making a version for my little crew to enjoy on Sunday.

Where are my introverts at? Can you relate?
