What to Wear to the Masters Golf Tournament

Spring in Atlanta means the dogwoods are blooming, the azaleas are bright pink and the Masters Golf Tournament is right around the corner! If you are going this year, I found a few cute things to wear to the Masters Golf Tournament. And if you aren’t going to the watch it in person, I’ve included some ideas below for hosting a Masters party at home.

WHAT TO WEAR TO THE MASTERS

It can be challenging when figuring out what to wear to a day long golf tournament because you want to be cute but it also has to be super functional. The other challenge is that you never quite know what the temperatures are going to be this time of year and you can really experience all seasons in one day so layering is key! The key really is comfort because you will likely do lots of walking.

Here are a few suggestions for what to wear the the Masters:

Masters Green
When in doubt look for something in your closet in the signature Masters green color. I think these Green Linen Drawstring Pants could be a great option with a cute blouse and sweater. This Green Pullover is so cute with the striped collar detail. And this Green Dress with a jacket is also cute.
Cute Dress
I wore a dress to a golf tournament last spring and ended up wearing these running shorts under my dress. It really helped me feel more comfortable wearing a dress knowing I had “bloomers” on, and since my dress didn’t have pockets I was able to keep my phone in the pocket of my shorts. (remember there are no phones at the Masters)
Hat
You will likely be in the sun all day so a hat and sunglasses are key. You can either do a baseball hat or a cute straw hat. Don’t forget sunscreen!
Cute Sneakers
We ended up walking around so much so I would highly recommend wearing sneakers. These green Vejas would be so cute for a splurge and so would these more affordable green and white Adidas.
Belt Bag
Although phones are prohibited at the tournament, you may still want to carry a few items with you as you walk around so this could be a good option. I bought a Belt Bag a few years ago and it has definitely come in handy for various events!
