Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week! It was our spring break and we have been enjoying a very low key week down at the beach at 30-A. We did our big trip a few weeks ago and I shared our skiing recap HERE. We’ve had some pretty great and warm weather and I am thankful for this recharge before the last few whirlwind months of school and spring sports.

EASTER DECOR

Have you seen these colorful flocked Easter bunnies from Walmart yet? They are 16 inches and only $10! They seem to be popping up all around Instagram! There are lots of colors available and they really do look adorable! You can shop them HERE.

OVERWINTER FERNS

As I was hauling my perfectly alive ferns to the curb last fall, I decided instead to stick them in the shed. Something about throwing away a plant that is alive just made me sad! I didn’t think they would probably do very well in the shed over the winter, and we don’t have any indoor storage or places to keep them. But I figured let’s just see what happens!

I pulled them out last week and they do not look great! We did have a few very cold days in December and I left them in the shed so not sure if they would look better without the hard freeze. I cut them all way back, watered them and stuck them out in some filtered sun. I am not optimistic they will come back but it’s been a fun learning experience to see what happens!

Carpool Sidekick

She really is a sweet baby girl and loves cruising with me. It’s been a year since we lost Millie and I am still convinced that jumping right in with Piper was the best decision.

Doing Spring Things

I just couldn’t help myself and clipped some pretty spring things. It’s mostly weeds but it brought me joy. 🙂

BOY GIFT IDEA

The boys got some remote control boats for Christmas and we were finally able to test them out last weekend. For the price I would recommend if you need a boy gift idea. It was easy to use, is rechargeable and went fairly fast and the boys had fun racing them around. SHOP THIS BOAT HERE

SUMMER SANDALS

These $30 sandals arrived and I haven’t stopped wearing them! I got them in black and white and love the fun tortoise buckle detail.
