We decided to keep the menu simple with a hot chocolate bar and dessert spread. To keep the decor easy, I pulled out all of the linens, dishes and fabric I had and was able to pull together a mix-and-match look with black, white and different colors of blue. The main patterns were black and white buffalo check and black and white polka dots.
The mustache straws were made using paper straws from Target and then cutting out the mustache with black paper. I just taped them to the back of the straws.
The hot chocolate bar consistented of mini-marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, chopped white chocolate, chopped peppermint, cool whip and marshmallow cream.
We ordered the baked goods from Rhodes Bakery in Atlanta. Petit Fours were adorable with little blue booties, and at a $1 each, I thought it was very reasonable. The cupcakes were pretty no-frills, but tasted good and at only $1.10 also a very good price. The cheese straws get an A+ as do the wedding cookies.
Made what I call a “Darling Garland” scrap fabric and ribbon banner with the coordinating colors and patterns. There are TONS of tutorials online. This is a super easy and free (if you have scrap fabric and ribbon laying around the house) way to add festitivity!

No baby shower would be complete without flowers. Luckily I was able to find some hydrangeas in blues and whites and white daisys to complement the table setting.
The finishing touch to celebrate the soon coming little gentleman was a “bow-tie” napkin at each place setting. These were pretty simple following these instructions.
I just love this banner concept because I have already used it twice. Just cut the brown backing paper but don’t affix the letters.
