Brrr! I am loving this cold front that came through Atlanta. It certainly has me in the holiday spirit. The festivities already began around here with a visit from my Sissy over the weekend. It is always so wonderful having her in town! Now the festivities continue all week with more family and lots of eating.
We will be hosting Thanksgiving on Friday so I had some fun prepping my table setting. (if you’re counting, that will be Thanksgiving #3 for the week, but…hey it only comes around once a year so who’s counting) 🙂
If you’ve been around here long you know I was fortunate to inherit a set of Blue Willow dishes from the Big Sweet’s Grandmother. The gold silverware also came from her, and I love it!
I love this classic pattern and think it’s fun to mix it up in fresh and modern ways.
Do you have your table ready? I’d love to hear about it.
OK! Off to the grocery store, along with the rest of Atlanta! 🙂

Heather!
I’m a huge Blue Willow fan & have been slowly collecting pieces for years. I just love this idea! Will have to keep this in mind for one day when I have enough pieces to actually set an entire table 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! It will definitely be worth the wait- it is a classic for sure!

Heather says
They were from C. Wonder a few springs back. I wish I could source some for you now!

What a lucky girl to have inherited such pretty things! I found my BW at a thrift shop over the summer and just adore it for everyday use. I’m dressing it up for Christmas, but just adore what you’ve done with it here. Happy Thanksgiving!
