It’s November!
And my brain has quickly shifted gears to Thanksgiving.
I am super excited to be hosting our family this year and my wheels are spinning on our tablesetting.
Although we are planning on keeping it VERY simple this year in terms of the menu, (Honeybaked Ham people!) I will still pull out the china I inherited from my husband’s grandmother. If you don’t use it for Thanksgiving, when will you use it, right?
I love these dishes. They are very neutral- white with a gold rim. Along with the china came some fabulous gold silverware and gold wine glasses.
So…I guess it’s safe to say we are working with gold!
And as a starting point for my tablescape,
here is the color scheme I am thinking.
Blues, burlap, burnt orange, brown and gold.
Feels like fall, no?
I will definitely shop the house for the rest of my table items.
Check out these great tables for more inspiration!
Ooh- I would love to get my hands on some of those turkey plates!
But then where would I store them all year?!?!?1
What about you? Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year?
Do you have a go-to color scheme for your Thanksgiving table?

Thanks Shanee. It is fun to shop the house for sure! Although, since I have posted this and "shopped" I have already changed my vision. I guess that is why shopping the house is fun, you never know where it will land!
