I love sharing tutorials and projects but it’s been a while since I shared my random thoughts. So here is a day in the life…
I actually won something from an Instagram giveaway and it is proving to be quite entertaining! This letter board is a really fun “toy” for the house!
When we were at the beach, we found painted rocks in several different parks, so we decided to join the fun! Here are our rocks that we painted and hid. Sweet P loved painting and hiding the rocks and even Sweet B got in on the fun. Apparently this is a thing? Have you heard about this?
Last weekend was the Haven conference here in Atlanta and it was a great weekend of inspiration and hanging with some blog friends. There is truly nothing better than being with a group of like-minded creative ladies! This is my fourth time attending and here is a recap on last year’s conference. I was a bad bad blogger and didn’t take many pics this year but this was a fun one from the welcome reception.
Rachael @ This is Our Bliss, Me!, Katie Bower @ Bower Power, Erin Spain @ Erin Spain Blog
Charlotte @ At Charlotte’s House, Sarah @ Life on Virginia Street
Fun fact: Charlotte has five kids and Katie has four boys and is pregnant with her fifth- and it’s a girl!
Stacking cups has become a favorite past time around here. My Aunt who is a retired kindergarten teacher introduced it to Sweet P and he loved it! If you are looking for an easy thing for your kids to do, try this! He now makes them with all different patterns and colors. Yay for simple and cheap.
We didn’t get to see any turtle nest releases this summer since but my Mom’s small group still adopted a nest. If you want to read more about our turtle encounters I did a write up on it here.
Welllll. Sweet P starts kindergarten tomorrow AND turns six. My heart is absolutely exploding. Here is my favorite shot from our time at the beach this summer. When I think about how we only get 18 summers with our littles and the fact that I am already 1/3 of the way through with Sweet P it just makes me want to bottle up every second. I know he is ready for kindergarten and I am excited for him, but a part of me wishes they could stay little forever.
Alright, that’s enough rambling for now! Happy Monday!
xoxo-
Heather

Love you. Big hugs tomorrow. You got this.
Love all the photos. The one of you and the boys at the beach is so sweet!
