I think that should pretty much include everyone amiright? If so, you better read on for today’s 2022 inspiration post because I am sharing two home products that I always keep on hand. Consider them life hacks. Then thank me later. (and if you didn’t raise your hand to any of those please tell me all your life secrets!)

Alright admittedly today’s topic may not be that interesting. But if you run a household you will hopefully appreciate today’s tips. The first one is Folex Carpet Cleaner. Have you ever heard of this before? I hadn’t until about a year ago, but it has truly saved so much heartache around here. Maybe because I am a boy mom or maybe because I have a puppy- but this stuff is like water for us! It works on keeping stains up on all of our rugs and carpet. The most notable time it worked was when my youngest let a big blob of blue slime loose on the rug in our playroom. I worked on the blue stain a couple times using Folex Carpet Cleaner and it actually came up. It is MAGIC!

The second product that is great little life hack is this Downy Wrinkle Release Spray. YES: I have an iron. YES: I have an ironing board. AND YES: I have a steamer I keep in my closet. But seriously- who wants to iron kids uniform shorts or shirts before school? Not this mom. (*** and yes they are wrinkled to begin with because they sat in the dryer for 2 days waiting to be folded) If you have something that is a bit wrinkled- you just mist the piece of clothing with this spray and then use your hands to smooth the wrinkles out. Now if you need creases on something fancy or have delicate fabric this won’t work… but if you want to smooth your day to day stuff out in seconds- grab yourself a bottle. It is MAGIC!

Thank you! It’s been fun to get motivated in the new year. Unfortunately that dress came from a local boutique called Monkees and it is no longer available! I will keep looking if something similar comes available because so many people have asked about it!
Downy Wrinkle Releaser is life. I don’t even know where my husband keeps the iron. Lol
We also get a lot of use out of oxy clean spray.
