The time has finally arrived in my quarantine journey. I have realized that my favorite leggings and workout shorts are not going to get me through the entire summer. It might be time to rotate in a few new things.  ENTER: THE HOUSE DRESS. This is my answer to being comfy but feeling cute for the next couple of months. Oh, and also room for the extra pounds I added while stress eating my way through home schooling every day. While we all may be still sheltering in place, I know my neighborhood is doing things like socially distant ladies driveway happy hours and birthday drive-bys. A flowy dress is the perfect thing to throw on!  Also, I love throwing on a comfy dress for a car road trip or after a day at the beach and while it will look different this summer – we are working to add a few of those back to our summer calendar as well.

1. FLORAL BOHO DRESS 

   This dress has over 1200 reviews and comes in 39 different patterns.  It feels like pajamas but gives you that put together look. This dress is only around $30 but really does have a more high end look. I am in a medium although I do think I could have possibly sized down. I wear a cami under it because of the way it ties on top. 

   

2. OLIVE MAXI DRESS

   I love this olive maxi dress for lounging around and it would definitely make a cute dress that you can wear on a road trip straight to hanging out. Throw on a jean jacket and pair with these sandals (also on Amazon!) for a full easy-breezy look. I’m wearing a medium. 
   

3. BLACK CAMI MAXI DRESS

   This picture was snapped last summer while visiting 30-A.  I snagged this black tank maxi dress and ended up LIVING in it all summer. It feels like pajamas but can go straight from a road trip to dinner. AND IT HAS POCKETS. I am wearing a medium- and I just knotted up on side of the dress for a fun detail.  Because of the spaghetti straps- you do need to have the right bra and I wear something similar to this. This dress comes in lots of colors and I just may need to grab a navy one this year.

4. BLACK RACERBACK MAXI DRESS

   This racerback maxi dress has also been my go-to road trip dress for the past two summers! Super comfy and this one has pockets as well- so you can easily bring your phone along. And hold your kids rocks. Or shells. Or trinkets. Or whatever they decide they need you to hold that day. 🙂 It washes well (I always let air dry) and is just overall a great summer staple.

5. RED FLORAL SUNDRESS

   I just ordered this fun red floral bohemian dress and have high hopes for it! I love the way the sleeves are cut and the pattern is super cute. I am usually a solid print type of girl, but loving this bright and bold pink and red combo. 

   

6. BLUE SWING DRESS

   I also just received this blue floral button down ruffle dress.  I think this one will be great for throwing on after the beach or pool. Would be so cute with some red statement earrings for the 4th of July too.
