We had another week of snow days last week and since I was cooped up at home, figured it was the perfect time to make the Valentine Moss Topiary. I had dreamt this up in my head and was so happy with the final result. The best part is that it only cost me $1.25.
Here’s how I made this Valentine Moss Topiary
FOAM HEART: I popped into the Dollar Tree the other day and spotted this foam heart. As soon as I saw it, I thought it would be perfect for a topiary.
MOSS: Had a bag of moss leftover from a previous project. I found that tearing off smaller pieces to form the moss onto the heart worked best.
HOT GLU GUN: Used hot glue to stick the moss to heart
YARD: Found a mossy stick from the yard as the pole and used a knife to make a hole in the bottom of the heart.
POT: Used a pot I had with some foam to hold it all!
Here’s the foam heart I started with. It did get a little messy with the moss, but it was fun to hot glue it on!
Finished Heart Shaped Moss Topiary!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
