Wearable Wardrobe (Volume 4)

in style on 07/09/19

Is summer just FLYING by for everyone else too? It feels like after the Fourth it just spirals towards back to school and I am determined to soak up the next month.  The good news for that is the boys and I are driving down to Florida this morning so we can enjoy slow days at the beach.  Today I am sharing a “WEARABLE WARDROBE” post. My hope is to inspire you to dig in your closet and actually wear the wardrobe you already have hanging in your closet.

I just love inspiring the busy lady to be her very best and hope that this sparks joy when you are in your closet instead of that dreadful “I have nothing to wear” feeling.

OUTFIT INSPIRATION #1

I wore this black “romper” for our Coastal Mississippi trip. But here is the secret- it is not really a romper! I just paired a pair of paper bag shorts with a black tank- both already in my closet. It was like wearing pajamas but I felt chic and comfortable. The crossbody bag was a new purchase and I love the functionality of it over a clutch for daytime adventures.

OUTFIT INSPIRATION #2

Red is always fun for summer and I actually realized I have very little of it in my closet. I paired this fun red top with my fave new Walmart shorts and was on my merry way! 🙂

OUTFIT INSPIRATION #3

This top is surprisingly cute for the price. It came with long pom-pom tie tassels but I just cut them off it felt more like “me”. I hand washed and hung to dry and it washed well that way. A cute and colorful top for summer!

OUTFIT INSPIRATION #4

Our summer so far has been a great mix of adventures and low key days. I wore this to Fernbank Museum on one our bucket list days. Love that the simple striped top has been zhushed up with ruffled sleeves and a tie front.

OUTFIT INSPIRATION #4

Sometimes you just a basic white top! And while this one is basic white, it is still super cute with the button detail and front tie.

OUTFIT INSPIRATION #5

I’ve worn this top out twice already and failed to snap a pic both times! But I do love how chic it is, and super comfy. I paired it with these off white jeans when I wore it and loved it for summer! I am usually a white jeans kind of girl but kind of loving this off-white pair right now.

I hope you are feeling inspired to take a look at your closet with fresh eyes this weekend! Or maybe fill a few gaps you have with some staples shown here.

Happy closet shopping!

xoxo-

Heather
