Happy holiday weekend! I hope you are enjoying every minute and soaking up sunshine, fireworks and general summer fun. We are at home hosting family and our staycation is going great! Pool time, Braves game, I LOVE THIS WEEKEND!
Since I missed last week I have lots to catch you up on for this week’s Front Porch Coffee Talk! So grab your coffee and let’s chat!
Our baby turned FIVE! I had a blast setting up his presents like it was Christmas morning and he was greeted by this when he came downstairs. What a special morning!
And we celebrated with a backyard birthday bash with a CAMP BROOKS theme. Perfect for a summer birthday!
Restock Alert! This rattan crossbody is back in stock. So cute (and practical) for summer!
The front porch got dolled up with some bunting and she is looking so patriotic. Summer looks good on her don’t you think? 🙂
Last weekend we celebrated a friend’s 4oth birthday with a surprise party at Ponce City Market. The event took place on the rooftop at Nine Mile Station. This was my first time checking out the rooftop at Ponce City and it did not disappoint! Check out the views. Highly recommend Ponce City Market and the rooftop if you are local or visiting.
The Black Eyed Susans finally bloomed this week! It definitely feels a few weeks later than normal but I am just thrilled to see this pop of yellow in our backyard.
Of course, I had to clip a few and bring them inside to enjoy. I also clipped a bunch of lavender from the yard to add. For the vase, I grabbed a plastic Pellegrino bottle from CVS this week and voila- it became this cute vase. Seriously, this might be the cutest $2.79 vase in town! To make it, I just used a serrated bread knife to start the cut into the plastic and then used scissors to cut the rest of the top off. It just makes this little corner of the kitchen feel so summery.
The boys and I are off to the beach next week! Happy
Happy holiday weekend!
xoxo-
