Hi friends! Happy FRIDAY! Welcome to this week’s Front Porch Coffee Talk from Florida! The boys and I are down at my parents beach house for our annual summer getaway. It has been wonderful to get out of Atlanta and enjoy the sea breeze, salt air and a #FAMJAM. So grab your coffee and let’s get talking, shall we? This week, I will take an iced coffee with extra ice. 🙂

I snapped this picture as we were walking out the door for our road trip earlier this week. And I was feeling “just peachy” because we were heading to the “beachy.” But seriously, isn’t this the cutest graphic tee for all of us Georgia Peaches out there? Or anyone looking for a cute graphic tee. There are actually three different styles available and it is so cute for the graphic tee trend this summer.

Has anyone shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet? It’s always hard for me to get in a fall state of mind when I am down at the beach during this sale. But I can’t wait to take a closer look at all of the great items and grab a few staples for fall. It opens today for cardholders and then to everyone next week. Sizes tend to go fast so snag up what you like since it’s free shipping and returns. The sale is great for pieces like booties (like these mushroom colored ones), sweaters (like this great turtleneck), jeans (like these for under $60) and cardigans (like this leopard one). And if I could justify it as a Stay At Home Mom with not a whole lot of reasons to get dressed up, I would buy these beautiful boots in a heart beat. (that still might just need to happen!)

Have you been to Costco lately? I snatched this seasonal Raspberry and Jalapeno dip up as soon as I saw it, and it is a HIT! I actually bought a similar kind last fall with a Cranberry flavor and was excited to see this summer Raspberry version available. If you see it in yours, definitely grab it. I also bought the Cotton Candy Grapes from Costco and blew my kids minds! If you’ve never had these green grapes- definitely grab them if you see them in your market. They really do taste like cotton candy.

!!!!CUTE SWIMSUIT ALERT!!!! I snagged this fun teal swimsuit last week when I popped over to Target and I just LOVE the fun ruffle back detail. It was on sale for 20% with the Cartwheel app when I was in the store. I love how it is a one piece but has so much fun detail to make it less boring. (Huge thanks to my sissy for snapping this pic on the beach!)

Ahhhhhh…FINALLY! The book I have been waiting to read all summer long. I finally got a chance to start Where the Crawdad’s Sing this week and I am half way through. So far I am loving it. I don’t want to share any spoilers on here but I would love to know your thoughts on it if you have read it.

If you haven’t yet splurged on a waterproof Scout Beach Bag, – try an IKEA bag! I know it’s not the cutest, but it sure is functional. We always seem to have lots of these blue bags hanging around the house and I happened to use one to pack a bunch of beach gear for our vacation. Turns out it is the perfect water resistant bag and a great size and shape for holding all the beach things. I am thinking this might be an easy thing to pack in a carry on as well.

Happiness is… riding on the beach with this little co-pilot! Although Sweet B took his training wheels off a few weeks ago, he still can’t keep up on long bike rides and still hasn’t learned etiquette to maneuver other people. This tag-a-along bike is a game changer for us to be able to take family bike rides. And can we just talk about those sunglasses!?!
