Oh there’s no place like home for the holidays!
I just love bringing the magic of the holidays into my home this time of year.
It’s time for the Southern State of Mind’s Christmas Home Tour!
Welcome to our holiday home!
Where we love our Nutcracker collection…
and get excited about using Christmas plates…
and have a “thing” for antlers, chevron and gold…
oh yeah, and burlap…
we can find a use for driftwood any time of year…
we like leopard and navy…especially at Christmas…
we keep our beloved animals warm…
and we can’t get enough white milk glass…
we love having the tree with family keepsakes…
but mommy needs her pretty peacock tree too…
we like to (sock) monkey around…
we love to host guests during the holidays…
and we love. our. coffee.
Merry Christmas, y’all!

Enjoyed visiting your lovely home. I have a question…Did you paint your fireplace brick? If so, what color did you use? It looks a lot like Annie Sloan CoCo….Please let me know.. thanks…cecedreams@gmail.com
Yes, we painted the brick. The color is actually Restoration Hardware paint and the color is Slate.
