Happy Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? Weekends are always a bit hectic with two little ones, but I must admit that I spent every spare moment I could sitting by our Christmas tree. Really, is there anything better than the twinkle of those lights?
Oh and I did some “baking”. Ha ha ha, are you laughing yet? It counts as baking if you use the oven, right?!?!?
By now you know I stick with recipes that are 5 ingredients or less. So far in the 30 Days in a Holiday State of Mind series, we have done 5-ingredient King’s Hawaiian Sliders and 2-ingredient Pumpkin Muffins.
Someday I will be all fancy and use a recipe book. But in this season of my life with two little ones to tend to, I am good with 20 minutes in the kitchen and only a handful of ingredients!
Today I am sharing a quick “cookie” “recipe”. Honestly I use the word cookie and recipe lightly here people. It is really just a pretzel, with a melted Hershey kiss and kissed with an M&M.
3 Ingredients.
5 Steps.
Now we are talking!
And the best part? It is the PERFECT blend of sweet and salty.
You ready for this? Better get out your recipe card. Bwa, ha, ha…
Heat oven to 200 degrees.
Layer pretzels flat on a cookie sheet.
Unwrap Hershey Kisses. This part actually takes the longest! I promise I didn’t eat ANY along the way…
Stick them into the oven to melt. (2-3 minutes)
Once the chocolate is melted, “kiss” them with an M&M.
Now, this first batch below I didn’t melt them long enough. I only did 2 minutes. They should be more flat and melted. These still taste great, but they look much cuter when they are more melted!
I made a couple variations and BY FAR I liked the caramel with peanut M&M’s. As much I like the red stripe, the minty flavored Hershey was my least fave.
Happy “baking”! 🙂
Ho, Ho, Ho!
