Happy weekend! And for many of you, happy long break from work and school. By now I hope the stockings are all hung with care and you can enjoy a few somewhat relaxing days at home. I am here today on a rare weekend post to share our Christmas Coffee Station. With Christmas only days away, this is something you could still easily put together.
I am reeeaaaallly into coffee these days and I think we are going to have an early morning this Christmas. I don’t know… something about the 3 year old bustling out of bed every morning yelling “It’s Christmastime eveeerrryybboooddyyy”!
Our guests are arriving this afternoon for the week, so I set up a self-serve coffee station.
This year we are starting a new tradition.
We will be HOME on Christmas morning.
In the past, we didn’t mind traveling or visiting family but now with two littles, it is something that has become important to us. I’m looking forward to waking up in our own house with some frantic present opening followed by a relaxing morning at home.
Our guests will be here on Christmas so having this coffee station set up will super helpful. This way, when they wake and I am wrangling the 3 year old or tending to the baby- they can help themselves to some (much needed) caffeine in the morning.
Because let’s face it, we will probably be up way too late talking and wrapping presents on Christmas Eve.
The best part of this coffee station is the new McCafé coffee that is included. It comes in pods as well as ground coffee. Did you know that you can use ground coffee in a reusable pod in your single cup brewer? Um, life changing!
This premium coffee is made with 100% Arabica Beans and has lots of flavors to choose from. It’s available at Wal-Mart and there is actually a McCafé demo at Wal-Mart locations nationwide until 12/21. If you need more inspiration, check out the Cooking Up Good website. It has recipes, sweepstakes, loyalty programs, coupons and more!
So, what is your coffee routine? Do you have a fun Christmas morning tradition… and does it start with CAFFEINE? 🙂
xoxo-
