Southern State of Mind Blog by Heather

(#7) Simple. Southern. Sundays. Vintage Coca-Cola Crates

in Lifestyle on 09/29/13

Happy weekend, y’all!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I was absolutely swooning over the Coca-Cola crates filled with succulents I saw last weekend while at a golf tournament here in Atlanta.

We were fortunate to hang out in the Coke Hospitality Tent and these beautiful crates were set around the lounge.

Um. Seriously?
I MUST have one of these!

I seriously contemplated whether anyone would
notice me carrying one out when the golf tournament was over. 🙂

I loved the entire set-up they had!
Those trellis pillows!!!!

And two Coke Penley pieces of art hanging!
(Steve Penley is a local Atlanta artist)

I seriously was inside taking pictures of random succulents, pillows, and art
while everyone was outside watching golf.

You really can’t take me anywhere. 🙂

Do you LOVE those crates as much as me?
Here are some more fantastic ways to use wooden Coke crates!

I love old soda crates. I should have bought a bunch more at an auction I went to a couple years ago. At that time I bought two cause I liked their look the best. One sits on my desk to help corral accessories and one is on our buffet in our dining room. It holds a little bit of everything. It's my favorite. It's Pepsi, where my bro used to work before he passed away from cancer. A small little touch that most people glance over but me and family know why it's out.

I am so excited that I came across your post today. I HAVE an old soda crate in my garage and the holes are too small to do much with. I now know what I'm going to do with it thanks to you! Thank you for sharing.]
    Blessings,
    Patti

YES! The vintage Coca Cola crates totally do it for me – – especially in photo shoots with cute little ones. Fantastic photos, m'dear!
