Who doesn’t LOVE a good pallet art project?
Seriously, I am so intrigued with all of the
amazing things you can do with a pallet!
And since I had an extra one on hand,
I decided to incorporate it into my fall decor this year.
Do you ever start a project and not really have a plan?
That was me.
I had no plan.
I just sort of… went for it…
I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out…but I figured I couldn’t mess it up.
It was FREE, after all!
But, I am very happy with the way it turned out.
AND, the best part?
This was actually EASY!
Oh, and did I mention FREE!!?
Step 1: Find a Pallet
Add a coat of stain for a modern look as well as more color contrast.
Had this Pecan color on hand that I found in the oops section of Home Depot.

Found a horse silhouette online and printed.
Taped it together to form a stencil and then taped it to the pallet.
Free? Check.

Step 4: Spray Paint
I gave the pallet top a light coat of Rustoleum Heirloom White spray paint.
I actually tried to not give it full coverage for a weathered look.
Free? Check. (I had some on hand)

OK, so I won’t be winning any artist awards,
but hay hey,
it works for me!
Be sure to check back tomorrow to see the
finished pallet
on the mantel!
