As you know, I won the lottery partnered with At Home and the HGTV Spring Idea House to do a makeover on my back porch this spring. Last week I shared my vision for the back porch as a starting point that included lots of navy, orange and neutrals. This week I am sharing an inside look at my trip to At Home to get the back porch makeover started.
I brought my little sidekick (the baby) and a cup of coffee. It was pretty much love at first sight when I walked in the store and I felt immediately inspired for the back porch!
As I entered, I noticed a huge outdoor furniture area to the right so headed that way. Of course I fell in love with these chairs. Wouldn’t those chairs look great on a porch?
Then I entered the cushion zone. Y’all, they seriously have cushions for days.
Have you ever seen a selection like this? I was BLOWN away by the different patterns, colors, and sizes available. I literally went up and down every aisle two times just to be sure I didn’t miss anything. #FOMO
Loved this gray furniture set up. So swanky! But since I already have furniture, I honed in on that rug. LOVE!
Of course, I couldn’t limit myself to just seeing the outdoor stuff and had to check out every square inch of the store. Navy nail head chairs? Yes, please.
Anyone need a side table? For real, look at this selection!
They had a big selection of pillows and these really caught my eye.
I may or may not have spent my entire morning wandering this store.
But after wandering, we had to get back to business and decide which cushions were coming home with us. So I did what any normal person does- I laid them out on the floor to mix and match to my heart’s desire.
And here is a sneak peak of what came home with me on that trip.
This. Was. Fun.
(and yes, I said on that trip because I have been back threeeeeeee more times since)
Tip- if you are in the Atlanta area- there is a location up in Kennesaw and one in Norcross. We live pretty much right between both locations so of course I had to go to both. #FOMOISREAL
Off to put our new goodies to good use!
I’ll be back to fill you in on the details of what I decided to go with as well as the reveal so be sure to stick around!
xoxo-
Heather
