Happy Friday friends! I hope you have enjoyed the Blue Christmas Holiday Home Tour. Phew, I am tired! I have a few more posts up my sleeve but I gotta tell you that a glass of wine by the Christmas tree is just calling my name so it may get more quiet around here over the next few weeks.
Today I am here with a Five Minute Friday post. These are posts intended to be simple tips that can be done in about 5 minutes.
Now, I may be the last person on the planet to learn about this most amazing Christmas TV station EVER. It’s called YULE LOG and it plays a roaring fire with Christmas music. If you all knew about this, why have you never mentioned it? I thought we were friends.
It all started when I was going to photograph the den and living room this week and as always, our large and in charge TVs were staring at me in the face. So I went on a mission to find something I could play on the TV and immediately thought that a fire would be cool. So I did what any girl does when she has a question. No, not ask Siri. Google. #duh
Sure enough- there is a YULE LOG channel. This station shows a roaring fire and plays soothing Christmas music. Um, hello, where have you been all my life!?!? For anyone with Comcast in Atlanta, this station is actually On Demand- just search for Yule Log.
Don’t have cable? No problem. It’s on Netflix too. And apparently there is a website that can stream it as well.
As soon as I found it, I text it to my neighbor who mourns the fact that her home did not get built with an indoor fireplace. I had the perfect solution for her this Christmas! A roaring TV fire! (and yes, we do have a fireplace in this room which we love… but isn’t always the fastest/easiest solution!)
But it doesn’t end there, y’all.
I didn’t think it could get any better. But it does.
When my neighbor turned on her Yule Log channel, she found something even better.
A Yule Dog Channel. A channel that plays adorable puppies playing in Santa hats and Christmas music.
YOU ARE WELCOME.
Merry Merry,
Heather
