It’s time for our third installment of our Progressive Dinner Party series with Christmas Tree Shops andThat!. Today on the blog I am kicking off the fall season (even though it is still very hot here in Hotlanta) with a simple dessert bar. If this is your first virtual Progressive Dinner Party- WELCOME! It is a fun collaboration with Christmas Tree Shops andThat! and a great group of bloggers where we share seasonal ideas for entertaining. Today it is all about fall hosting ideas. If you are hopping over from Lindsay at Aratari at Home, welcome!
This post is in partnership with Christmas Tree Shops andThat!
I had a blast shopping for this- they really do have so many fun goodies. Come on by for some “dessert” and I hope along the way you leave feeling inspired for fall entertaining!
For my fall progressive dinner party stop, we are focusing on sweet treats with a simple dessert bar. We all love to entertain, but who has time for homemade goodies? This simple dessert bar came together lickety-split using sweets and treats with fall flavors. The best part about this dessert bar is that everything came from packages so there was zero prep involved!
To create this spread, I grabbed three serving boards from Christmas Tree Shops andthat! and a few small dishes to help sort things on the boards. It’s the time of year we all start to crave pumpkin spice and I love that so many things of these treats are “fall” flavored.
In addition to the simple sweets and treats spread, I wanted a simple kitchen island centerpiece. So- GIVE ME ALL THE PUMPKINS! 🙂 I just love this great collection of pumpkins and it was fun to mix and match to create this festive island centerpiece. Those gray and copper feather oranges are so fun and the starting point for this spread.
Isn’t that sweater pumpkin cute too? I just love all of these sweet pumpkins and can’t wait to find lots of places to use them throughout the house this fall.
With the busy fall season, I know that entertaining can feel daunting. Which is why I love this idea of a simple dessert stop for a progressive dinner! Just need to keep it simple, right?
If this doesn’t inspire you for fall… then maybe these snaps from my shopping will!
