It’s finally warming up just enough for us to start using our back porch and outdoor fireplace. I love the sweet spot between seasons where the temperatures are just right to throw on a few logs and snuggle up on the porch. Of course, we can always think of an excuse to use our fireplace… did someone say s’mores?! Sitting next to the fire always seems to be where the best conversations happen among our friends and neighbors. There is just something so nice about being outside on the porch with a glass of wine and the fire crackling!

As you know, I had the pleasure of visiting The HGTV^® Dream Home 2019 out in Whitefish, Montana this winter. The home is nestled among the beautiful views of Whitefish Lake. The design of the home and decor was the perfect canvas for the “Mountain Modern” style. I left with so much design inspiration from paint colors to fabrics to the floor plan.

No detail was overlooked and both the indoor and outdoor fireplace were breathtaking. While I was at the HGTV Dream Home 2019, I learned that Belgard actually pre-manufactures their fireplaces and ships them out in several modular pieces. This makes installation so easy! How cool is that? So this fireplace arrived in 4 pieces that could just be assembled on site by a contractor.

As Atlanta is warming up, I am dreaming of spring and how I can freshen up my own back porch area. Of course, I can’t help but pull inspiration from the beautiful HGTV Dream Home 2019 outdoor area for fun ideas I can implement in my own space.
