Hi friends! How is your fall treating you? It is still pretty hot here and honestly I have had a hard time finding my fall groove with these temperatures. But cooler temps are certain to come at some point so I know the holiday bug will hit me soon!
It’s been a busy few weeks around here with a girl’s trip to NYC for the Better Homes and Garden Stylemaker Event that I was honored to be invited to again for the third year. Then it was straight to Ohio for my brother in laws wedding. Then we did a quick turn around and made our way to Pinehurst, North Carolina, for The Big Sweet’s 40th birthday getaway.
PHEW! All so much fun but I am so happy to be back home and in our groove. I have lots of fun holiday projects in the works but today I have a brain dump for you on some things I am currently crushing on.
OK- here we go with lots of goodies…and randomness! 🙂
My Camo Daytripper Travel Bag
As I mentioned above, we have had a hectic travel schedule lately and I have been on six flights over the past two weeks. With travel coming up, I figured it was the perfect time to treat myself to the Camo Daytripper Bag that I had been eyeing. And I am so glad I did! It holds a ton of stuff and is super cute. I was shocked at how much stuff fit in here and it even expands when you need to stuff a few more things in. The camo print on the outside is super fun, and there is a more feminine pink floral liner on the inside.
Essie Mink Muffs Nail Polish
This nail color is so on point for fall and I have received tons of compliments on it! On a whim, I actually went with the gel polish and I am hooked. I am three weeks in and it is just now finally starting to grow out.
Beautiful- The Carole King Musical
This year when we were planning our trip to the Better Homes and Gardens Stylemaker event, we knew we wanted to hit up Broadway. We landed on buying tickets for Beautiful and it did not dissapoint! Such a great story and the music and dancing was amazing. I highly recommend this one if you have a girl’s trip in the city!
Topo Chico
This one is super random but I feel it is my duty to share this delicious fizzy water with you. This was introduced to me by my neighbor who recently visited Texas. Once she got a taste she made it her mission to source some here in Atlanta. Which proved to be a challenge! But she did and when I went over and had some, I also made it my mission to find some! If you see this in your market, be sure to grab some! It makes a great mixer and I used it for a signature cocktail with our friends over the weekend in Pinehurst.
Sisters First- by the Bush Twins
Sisters First was on my summer reading wish list and I was stoked when our neighborhood Little Library had it a few weeks ago. It was an easy read on the flight to NYC and if you adore Jenna Bush like I do, I would recommend for a light read. It was fun to hear stories about their time in the White House, their perspective on 9/11 while their Dad was president, and lots of other sweet stories about the Bush family.
Well thanks for hanging with me for the randomness and I hope you found a few helpful nuggets. I just had to get all of that off my chest, ha.
OK fall temps- let’s get this season started!

Glad to hear you liked Beautiful! Every spring we do a girls day in the city for a Broadway show so I always love hearing what everyone likes!
