FOURTH OF JULY PARTY PREPPING
We’ve been busy getting ready for the Fourth of July around here this week. So far we have a flag centerpiece, a decorated front porch, all the supplies you will need to host a “Party in the USA” and a simple dessert board. If you missed any of these posts this week, I’ve linked them below.

EIGHT IT GREAT!
Eight is GREAT, unless it’s your baby turning eight… then it’s just a reminder at how fast this is all going! Tomorrow we will celebrate Sweet B’s 8th birthday. He’s my little buddy and is always cracking all of us up. He has never liked big birthday parties all about him so we are planning an Escape Room outing for his big day. (fun fact: I found him hiding in his room during his 5th birthday party) Happy Birthday!
MY LATEST STYLE HACK
Do you love a cute dress in your closet but never wear it because it’s too short or doesn’t have pockets? I have a solution for you! I bought these shorts to wear as “bloomers” when wearing a short dress out and about… and bonus- it also holds my phone! This is seriously such a fun hack and I’ve already done it a couple times this summer. No more wardrobe malfunctions and no more losing your phone. I’m just wondering why I didn’t think of this sooner.

FRONT PORCH SWINGING
I mentioned last week that I bought a new porch swing. My go-to handyman – hey Dad!!!- wasn’t able to help get it hung but I got lucky and was able to get someone out to help earlier this week. The chains that came with it weren’t long enough so it has taken some configuring with new chains, but we are well on our way to FRONT PORCH SWINGING!

CAMP TIME
Well, after months of preparing and talking about it, we will be sending our first camper off to camp on Sunday. I pray that it is a positive experience for growth, confidence and that he comes home with new buddies and stories to tell!
