Hi friends! Happy November. October flew by in a blink and I still cannot believe the holiday season is HERE! I have really been spending more time over on Instagram lately but have missed blogging and am so glad to be with you here today. Figured it was a good time for a Front Porch Coffee Talk where we can just chat and catch up on all the things!
HALLOWEEN 2023
Halloween was lots of fun, but different. Gone are the days of family costumes and wagons. Now we have friends tagging along with the boys. We were able to stay home and pass out candy for the first time!

When this book was listed for my 6th graders English curriculum- I told him I would read it with him as a way to connect and show him support. I am really enjoying and love that we can talk about it together.
Care Package
My friend was placed on bedrest due to complications with her pregnancy so I stopped by to bring her a fun care package. I made Copycat Whole Foods Detox Salad, Defined Dish Cabbage Soup and some Pumpkin Spice Muffins (I used spice cake instead of yellow cake mix). Then I just put a few Southern Living Magazines and some clementine’s. It was so fun to put this together and deliver!
Style My Closet Challenge
Last week I challenged myself to get dressed for 7 days straight! I was feeling like I was in a rut and this was an instant fix! I loved shopping my closet and wearing THE THINGS! I also felt more productive all week. Win, win win!
LAKE SCENE PAINTINGS
I was thrilled when I found this painting on a thrift pop in the other day. It was $0.99! I am grabbing any of these that I see because I I am planning to create a big gallery wall collection of lake/mountain scenes at the lake house. Always fun to have something to hunt for!
So far, this is what I have in the collection! 
DUTCH OVEN
I am not sure how, but in my nearly 19 years of marriage, we have never had a Dutch Oven! I FINALLY bought one one after looking at them for FOREVER! This one was delivered in two days and around $40. I LOVE the color for our kitchen and have already used it three times in a couple weeks. This would make such a fun gift for Christmas for the person who has everything!
