Happy Friday! Another week down and time is still flying! I do think that as we near the holidays- time seems to speed up I am still not used to it getting dark at 5 at night but that is probably because it is so unseasonably warm here. We have intentionally made no plans this weekend since we are traveling next weekend for Thanksgiving and I am so incredibly happy about it. I cannot wait to share with you a surprise we have planned for the boys for our Thanksgiving week! What are you up to? Let’s “chat”! Grab your coffee and meet on the porch for this week’s Front Porch Coffee Talk .
COSTCO WHITE CHOCOLATE PRETZELS
Grabbed these at White Chocolate & Peppermint Pretzel Thins at Costco because I thought they would be perfect to have on hand for a holiday snack board or easy holiday dessert. They are so tasty! Tip- if you buy them, hide them from yourself or else you will have to go back to get more before you have a chance to use them on a holiday snack board….
CHRISTMAS TREE CUTTING BOARD
While we are on the subject of snack boards, I love this Christmas tree cutting board! It’s on sale for $12 and would be a great thing to have a couple on hand for hostess gifts, teacher gifts or neighbor gifts. Just tie a pretty bow and add a gift tag- instant holiday charm!
DOLLAR TREE NUTCRACKERS
Popped in the Dollar Tree this week and saw these cute Nutcrackers. I have never seen this particular kind before- they usually have smaller wooden ones in their holiday section. These are plastic- so definitely not traditional but they have lots of cute details and colors and are a great size!
Have you been to get your 2020 Starbucks Holiday cup yet? I don’t usually do lots of Starbucks runs throughout the year since I usually have my coffee at home- on my front porch ha ha. But there is something so fun and festive about their Christmas cups! I even managed to pop in last Friday on the release of their new cup designs and got a cute reusable free cup. ‘Tis the Season!
TREAT YO SELF || DUDLEY STEPHENS
Well, I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a Dudley Stephens fleece. I hemmed and hawed all last winter on whether to get one! But after thinking about it FOR A YEAR, I decided it was time to go for it. I was having a hard time between the longer Cobble Hill style in black, or the Park Slope shorter style in black. I actually decided to order both and I will decide which one I like better once they arrive. Free shipping and returns at Tuckernuck – and be sure to use the promo code ITSBEENAWHILE for $25 off your purchase! Do you have one? Is it worth the investment?
I shared this dress last year as a cute and easy Thanksgiving outfit idea. It is still in stock and available on Prime for two day delivery. These dresses are just so cute and such an easy thing to throw on and feel put together. I wear a medium. This purple one is the one I have, but this orange one and cream one would be so cute for this time of year too!
WEEKLY FAVES & FINDS
Lot’s of goodies in yesterday’s Weekly Faves & Finds! That Plaid Popover Blouse from J Crew is coming my way (it was on sale earlier this week so hopefully it goes on sale again!) and I grabbed those Santa Earrings last year (only $12!) for a fun and festive accessory. Of course, that was back when I was going to my kid’s school holiday parties. Sigh.
