One thing I am trying to be better about is having my nails manicured and polished. But I also know that there is ZERO chance I will be sitting at a nail salon consistently so I have really tried to up my at-home manicure game. A few years ago, I shared all of my tips for a DIY Manicure- you can see that post HERE. I still use lots of those tips but somewhere along the way I picked up Essie Gel Nail Polish and I highly recommend this two-step process for an at-home manicure.
Just another nugget of inspiration for you as we work through our “22 Ways to Inspire Your 2022”!

This nail polish is a two step process- first you put on the nail color and then you top the gel high shine top coat. So it looks like a gel manicure, but you can remove it at home like regular polish. It only takes a few minutes and I can usually get about a week with it- and I think that is a huge win! And you can get both the polish and the gel top coat for about the price of a basic manicure so I call that a win too!
Lately I’ve been taking a break from my go-to pale pink color and using a neutral white. And because I shared a winter white outfit with you last week, I figured I should also let you in on my favorite color to wear lately! This pretty neutral white is called Essie First Fitting. This is a pretty ivory white color and I love how it goes with anything.
Do you have a go-to nail color or polish?
