Welcome to week 1 of a new series I’m kicking off the year with called “Hosting With Confidence.” My hope is to inspire confident and effortless hosting with a weekly idea about hosting.
This week I tackled our oven. We hosted lots of dinners over the holidays and it was (WAY!) overdue for a cleaning. I used a pumice stone soaked in warm water to get the baked-on grime off and then sprayed vinegar and wiped it down to make it sparkle.
Here is the after! I cannot believe how well this worked.
This project took less than 30 minutes and it feels great to have a project done!
Here is a link to the pumice stone I used: PUMICE STONE

Heather,
This was exactly what I needed. Our oven needs cleaning after the holidays, too. Our oven is electric, so your process will still work, right?
Thanks,
Mary

I don’t see why not?! I think the soaked pumice in warm water works on lots of things so I think any oven door could benefit!
