We spent last week enjoying the Florida sun on 30-A in the panhandle last week and it was the perfect way to kick off summer. This whole vacation came about when earlier this spring I sent a text to my friend and asked if their family of 5 wanted to join us for a week at the beach… and I think they were “IN” within about 3o seconds! So we have been looking forward to this family getaway for a few months and were fortunate to have great weather and make great memories.

MUST DO’S || SNAPSHOTS OF OUR TIME
We really just spent most days beaching in and the kids stayed busy in the water! The beach we were at had the crystal clear blue ocean water which is always a treat… but we also had a brackish lake behind us. Turns out the kids LOVED this feature and spent lots of time in this shallow lake. The boys also had a deep sea fishing outing and caught tons of fish! They had a blast.
EAT || SNAPSHOTS
We ate most of our meals either at home or at the beach club since we had 5 kids and eating out was a to-do. However we did venture out a few times and we even had a fish fry one night using the fish the boys caught fishing.
Overall it was a great getaway and the kids all got along great and kept each other busy! Can’t wait until our next 30-A adventure!
