We intentionally took the past few months off from traveling and it has felt wonderful to have a chance to regroup at home. After the weird 2020 year we all had forced to stay home, our 2021 travel schedule ended up being quite intense. But our little travel hiatus is about to come to an end as we have some fun trips coming up this spring. So I am taking the opportunity to take a look at our travel gear and today I sharing all of the essentials to make traveling easier and more comfortable.

Travel Wrap || A layer to throw in your carry-on and wear around while on vacation is a must have. This one looks so cozy!
Face Care Travel Size || I recently hopped on the Colleen Rothschild bandwagon for face care (I will keep you posted once I’ve been using it longer) and I ordered this set for travel. I like that it gives you lots of options for sticking with your face care routine, but in compact sizes perfect for travel. Plus, it is a great way to try out lots of the products before buying full size options.
Travel Bottle Set || In addition to that face care set, I always like having a set of travel bottles around when packing for trips so I can bring my own shampoo and conditioner or any other face product that I need a smaller container for. This set is so lux!
Water Bottle || I don’t leave home without my water bottle, so I definitely will always bring one with me when traveling.
Carryon Backpack || I just ordered this backpack. I have been using my husbands hand me down backpack from when he went to business school almost 20 years ago. What can I say- if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Welp. It is now broke! So it was time to upgrade. This bag has tons of positive reviews, is a great price point, and seems like it is going to fit allll the things. I also like that I can use it to carry on but also as a day bag for destinations.
Fancy Sandals || I literally haven’t packed for a trip without these sandals in years. They come on every trip because I end up wearing them on every trip! They pack small and go with every possible thing in my suitcase.
Taupe Crossbody || Another item I always travel with now is a crossbody purse. We usually carry-on so I bring my suitcase, a carry-on backpack, and then wear a crossbody. This holds my ID, phone, gum, etc. so I don’t have to dig through my carry-on. (but I do make sure that I can tuck it into my carry-on if needed)
Toiletry Bag || This black toiletry bag has tons of positive reviews, is a great price and it hangs! I am a total believer in the hanging toiletry bag and will never use another kind.
Slippers || I’ve been raving about my furkenstocks for months. I do not leave home without them!
Suitcase Set || Until recently, I had been using the large suitcase my grandparents bought me for college! (yes, that was a LONG time ago) But sadly the zippers are no longer functioning so it’s time to get something new. These are reasonably priced and have tons of great reviews. And so many great color choices so no more digging through all the black suitcases at baggage clam.
Jewelry Bag || I love bringing tons of statement jewelry with me when I travel so a jewelry organizer is a must. I love how jewelry can transform a simple outfit, and allows me to re-wear pieces in a new way- and takes up almost no room.
Paperback Book || While I love my Kindle, there is truly nothing better than a paperback by the pool!
Spotted Large Travel Pouch || I don’t have anything like this, but I am thinking it something I need! It seems like it would be great for corralling curling irons, blowdryers, roller brushes or any other large item.
Packing Cubes || And last but not least- packing cubes. Great for organizing your luggage. Everyone that uses them swears by them, so I’ve got these ordered and can’t wait to try them on our upcoming trip.
