Wow! We have officially been in our new home for a year. It has been a joy getting settled this past year. Hosting happy hours, meeting new neighbors and finding our style together to decorate some new rooms. We’ve had some wonderful memories- Sweet P’s first day of kindergarten and learning to ride a bike. Sweet B moving from his crib to a big boy bed and bursting with big boy personality. Seeing those bed head boys walk down the stairs on Christmas morning. And some sad- saying goodbye to our sweet chocolate lab Bella. I often feel like there is still so much to do at the house and while I enjoy the process sometimes I wish I was further along.
Today I thought it would be fun to see how far we have come in the past year with a house anniversary post.
So, here she is. One year later!

This is the heart of this home and I must admit that I spend most of my day around these counters.
| DINING ROOM |
If you’ve been following along, then you know that I tackled the dining room this past spring during the One Room Challenge. This was such a fun room to do and I just love the way it turned out! To see all of the details, you can read the post here.

Heather, what I LOVE about your house (besides everything) is that while it is big, it is so very homey and welcoming. There is a warm and friendly feeling about the rooms because of all the personal touches. The awesome enlarged black and white picture of the boys, flowers in the rooms, reminders of Atlanta, and all the other personal touches makes this beautiful home a “cozy nest” for your family.
Well done, sweet girl….Oh yea, the farmhouse sink,please…..
