Today’s tip- a new rug. OK, this one is not earth shattering, but what a huge impact it has made in our kitchen. I’ve always had a little rug in the kitchen, but the one that was there was getting ruined due to the high traffic and spills.
So I went on the hunt for an indoor/outdoor rug we could plop down. And should something spill we can just as easily pick it up to hose off.
A few weeks ago, Rugs USA had a big selection of rugs at 75% off with free shipping. I found this blue trellis one that is about 4′ x 5.5′. Perfect size for our kitchen.
Grand total: $25.75. Originally $103.
A week in and so far, so good. The corners are still a little turned but I am working on getting those to lay flat.
Alright, so if you are tracking with me, so far I am in $25.75 in for two MAJOR changes! Not too shabby.
