Well hello there and hello Monday. Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Here we are already half way through the month. Oh, and have I mentioned the baby will be one next week. ONE! He is growing up so fast and my baby days are coming to an end. Cue the ugly cry.
Last week I shared a quick tip on how to keep your cut hydrangeas from wilting. Today I am showing a quick tip on arranging grocery store flowers for summer.
I am not a high maintenance girl. I don’t regularly get manicures. I don’t take a long time to get ready to go somewhere. I don’t have a pricey purse collection.
But sometimes I just need flowers in the house!
Such a simple and inexpensive way to add some summer to your home. If you don’t have oysters, any sea shells would do the trick. If you don’t have either, here are some other ways I have “fancied” up grocery store bouquets- just click on the images below.
Hope you have a great week!
xoxo,
Heather

It looks great! The bright pop of yellow from the sunflowers just screams summer to me! I currently have a Black Eyed Susan growing in my garden about the same shade. It's one of many flowers that are bright but only a few are that yellow. And the oyster shells are a great touch!

TJ's is one of my favorite places for flowers, too. Can you believe we didn't have one in Savannah? I'm looking forward to shopping there again after we move to NC! Love the oyster shell idea–pinned!

We don't have a Trader Joe's here, and I'd give anything if there were! I get sunflowers at our Farmer's Market every Thursday during the summer. Very fresh.
