My January Home: Restoration Hardware Inspired

in Lifestyle on 01/19/15

Happy Monday! It’s a three day weekend around these parts and it has been glorious! (Hello sixty degrees, I’ve missed you.) As much as I have been enjoying the sunshine, I have also been busy purging and organizing the house all weekend. How in the world do we end up with so much stuff?!?

As promised, I am here today with some pictures of our January winter home. After the “more is more” Christmas decor, I was definitely ready to go neutral, comfy, and cozy.

After walking around the new Restoration Hardware here in Atlanta all googly-eyed, I couldn’t wait to try a couple new neutral projects around here. I have already shared the deets on the gray painted books and framed sheet music.

I am not going to go into much detail and just let the pics do the talking today. I’ll be back later this week with more explanation on the new accessories you see.

Be sure to stick around to the end because there are links to several other homes sharing their winter homes.

I can’t decide if I liked the silver trophies or paperwhites on the mantel… What do you think?

And with that, I am off to purge, purge, purge, purge it all, purge it all…(yes, I have been singing Taylor Swift all weekend while I purge!) 🙂
Be sure to check out the other Celebration of Winter links below.

Love the look! And I like the paperwhites – makes me happy to see green when it's so cold out (up here in Ohio, we are FAR below '60s!).

Love the combination of black and white for winter décor. Your mantel looks great with either paper whites or trophies but my favorite look is with the trophies. Your home is so pretty!

Hi Heather! I really really love how you mixed vintage and modern decor in your living room. And your mantel with the gray books and silver trophies – just beautiful! I was already following you on IG and Pinterest but realized not on FB or Twitter – just took care of that. 😉 Nice to meet ya!

Heather, I love all the touches throughout your home. So beautiful. And, I can't wait until spring to hit some good garage sales for old books. I really like the idea of painting them gray! Michelle @ DandelionPatina
