It always hits me this time of year. I start breaking out into hives and itching to get my outdoor spaces ready for summer! After the long winters, they are a HOT MESS and in some serious need of attention. (Geesh, is there any corner of my house right now that I am not working on!?) So I scoured Pinterest and found lots of real budget outdoor patio ideas to inspire!
The weather was great over the weekend so I started to make some progress on our outdoor spaces. I love to dream big and look at the amazing outdoor rooms on Pinterest with gorgeous outdoor fireplaces and luxurious outdoor furniture- I mean who wouldn’t right?
(because after all, this stuff is OUTSIDE people)

Love them all!! I hope this can be the summer of some changes for my backyard. For years, we've worked on the front and side yards but the back yard has been ignored….well, except a few small attempts and HUGE evidence of having kids (swing set, slides, trampoline). We have a great patio, a new deck, and furniture….now just to add plants, pops of pretty and character!

One thing that I love is curtains and colour outside.
We have just built a new courtyard at the front of our house that is just a sandpit waiting to be landscaped and furnished and I cant wait to start planting and decorating it! Definately itching to get out there!!

gorgeous images, and even better b/c they are real. we are finally putting in a brick patio since we have free brick, and I can't wait to have it be a more permanent structure that having to more our table and chairs every time we mow the lawn.
This blog has me inspired to do something with my wrap around porch! I love our view but the porch could use some sprucing up. It's been the same for many years! Spring has sprung and I'm itching to get out there and make some changes! Thanks for the inspiration!
