Southern State of Mind Blog by Heather

Our Christmas Home 2017

in Christmas, holidays, Home Tour, Our Christmas Home on 12/23/17

Hello friends!

And just like that only two sleeps until Christmas. I hope these last few days of the holiday hustle aren’t too crazy for you. While my list isn’t really officially done (I mean is it really EVER done?!) I am officially at a stopping point and ready to just kick back with the family.

Of course I had so many more tutorials and posts I intended to share over the past couple of weeks that didn’t quite make it across the finish line. I knew it was going to be a busy month and tried to plan accordingly but then life threw some curve balls so I am just rolling with it all.  This blog has become such a blessing to me, but as always the Mom and Wife rolls come first and that is quite alright with me!

Before I sign off for 2017 I wanted to share the rest of the holiday house with you. I actually took so many pictures over the past few weeks of the little Christmas touches throughout the house.  With this being our first year in the new house, it has been a joy to make it festive. I love trying new things and I know this house will evolve over the next year so it will be fun to look back at our first Christmas here.

Hands down, one of my favorite decorations this year is the Christmas tree on the front porch. I never did trim it with ornaments, but sometimes less is more. (or at least that is what I keep telling myself, ha)

So grab your Peppermint Mocha creamer and pour yourself a cup of coffee and come take a holiday stroll with me.

If I could have a cup of cheer with each of you I would thank you for your continued support. And then I would probably make you do a Christmas craft. 🙂 Come on in friend!

DINING ROOM… This room is still a major work in progress and I hope to tackle it in 2018 and of course share it here with you.

OUTDOOR PORCH…

While the temperatures are no where near us having a White Christmas, these photos are just too precious to me not to share again. OUR WHITE CHRISTMAS…

Hope you enjoyed a peak into our Christmas home. If you missed any Christmas posts this year, I have included them all again below.

xoxo-

Heather
