Hi friends and happy August! We are on our final summer vacation down on 30-A. It’s been so great to wrap up summer as a family and today happens to be Sweet P’s 8th birthday! The start of August is always bittersweet – to have my first born turn a year older and know that school is looming in just a few short weeks starting a new grade. But for now, we will soak up every minute of our time relaxing together as a family before alarm clocks and uniforms.
This vacation is very casual which made packing easy. It’s a good thing because it was a little crazy to pack because the boys and I spent two weeks down at my parents beach house right before this trip! We only had four days between that trip and this one- and during that time we hosted family and moved my mother in law into a new place. However, even though this trip was casual, I knew I needed to pack up birthday presents for Sweet P so we could celebrate his birthday at the beach.
Needless to say, I didn’t have a single minute to make it out to shop for birthday presents for Sweet P before we left again for the beach!
