Currently sitting here wondering if my family will allow me to create a book Christmas tree next year? How amazing is this thing?
I ordered this faux leather skirt from Target. Thinking it could be super cute with a black sweater and black booties or tall boots.

Do you have any fun New Years plans? We are planning on doing a family Olympics where we play ping pong, cornhole and maybe some Monopoly. I’m going a little crazy and even making a Boston Cream Cake. 🙂 It’s definitely going to be a low key one for us- and if you are doing the same- here is an idea to make it feel a little more fun! We had an at home glow in the dark party last year- it really made things feel more festive! You can read the recap HERE.
Have you taken your tree down yet? I am always eager to get it up.. and eager to take it down! Here is a reminder on how I stored our Christmas last year. It really came in handy this year. You can read all about it HERE: 20 MINUTE ORGANIZING || CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT STORAGE
I don’t even know who I am right now but yesterday I completed a 10 Day Peloton Streak! We have been lounging in pajamas and don’t know what day it is, but I am making myself get up and do a ride every day and it feels amazing to have 10 days in a row done! Of course I did an Abba ride to celebrate. #iykyk
One of the best presents we gave the boys for Christmas was to go to the Falcons game on December 26th. This makes our second NFL game and second stadium we have gone to this season. Apparently going to all NFL stadiums is our family bucket list. #BOYMOMLIFE Note to self- always give an experience as part of the Christmas gifts- love having this memory with my crew instead of just presents.
Gave myself the greatest Christmas gift ever. I stayed up late on Christmas and cleaned the entire bomb disaster of a kitchen. I even put away the Christmas decorations. I know, I know- embrace the chaos and savor the mess. But also- I knew this is what my soul needed and I was pretty much clapping to myself when I walked into the kitchen on the 26th!
Our Christmas break has been boring. And it’s EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED! No travel, no guests. Just good old fashioned boredom.
And some cornhole. Lot’s of cornhole.
Happy New Year!
XOXO-
Heather
