Greeting from 2023! Hope the new year is treating you well so far. There has been a nice lull in activities for us allowing me some time to get caught up around the house. Last year I hit the ground running on the blog and whipped up 22 posts to inspire your 2022 AND was in the middle of a 60 day Peloton challenge. When I look back I honestly wonder how in the world I did that! I am definitely easing into this new year and I am totally OK with that!

The Soup I Made This Week

I shared this Mexican Cabbage Soup recipe last year and it has become a winter go-to staple around here. I love having a big jar of it in the fridge for a quick lunch or snack and of course it makes a great dinner. It’s healthy too so it’s perfect for January!

Disco Ball Fun

I bought these disco balls for our Covid NYE in-home glow party at our friends house a few years ago and love pulling them out in January now. Just look how fun it is when it hits the light in our living room. Try not to smile- I dare you!

Christmas Tradition

I warned the fam before we went to church that I would be making them take “the picture”. I didn’t even realize it but a few years ago we snapped a picture while at church in front of these doors. Then the next year we did, and the next year, and the next year. I love that we have a fun tradition that started unintentional!
