MASTERS WEEKEND INSPIRATION

STYLE MY CLOSET CHALLENGE

If you missed it, last week my blog bestie and I kicked off a 30 day style challenge encouraging ourselves to just wear the dang clothes. Today is day 8 of the Style My Closet Challenge and all I have to say is THIS IS HARD! Ha! Now I remember why I wear the same old things all the time. It has been challenging, but I am definitely up for the challenge and enjoying it.

OPERATION USE IT IP

As part of the 22 Ways to Inspire Your 2022, I shared that I was conducting an Operation Use It Up around the bathroom cabinets. I loved hearing from so many of you about how you were inspired to “use it up” around your house too. I am still plugging away on the challenge and still love that feeling of “using something up!” As a reminder, here is a picture of all 43 bottles I had used up last time I shared to inspire you. It feels so great to think about how all of this is no longer taking up space around here!

TRAVEL BAG

I shared that I bought this carryon bag as part of my Travel Essentials a few weeks ago. It is petite but holds a good amount. I used it for spring break and again this week on a day trip and it passed all of the tests!

TRAVEL HAT CLIP

Speaking of travel, have you seen these darling and genius hat clips? My friend had one on our recent trip to the Bahamas and it was such a handy little travel tool. It’s definitely a splurge but if you like to travel and are desperately seeking shade- this would be a worthy investment!

KIDS CLOSET PURGE

No one told you when you had kids that you would be cleaning closets out for them 4 times a year. Every season, every growth spurt. Sweet P must have grown 4 inches overnight recently because suddenly NOTHING fit in his closet and every pair of pajamas was about 4 inches too short. I wish they would just listen already when I tell them to stop growing up. Wink wink.

PEEP VASE

It always makes me so happy when you share that you were inspired by one of my projects. My friend Katherine shared her cute yellow Peeps version of my Peeps Vase. How cute! If you missed it- you can see the tutorial HERE. She also passed along that you can order cute white Peeps eggs online which she ordered and plans to use for her Easter table.

PANTRY PURGE

I have been working on the pantry here and there over the last two weeks. It had completely gotten out of hand! Here is a snapshot of some of the before as I worked through it- I spent an entire morning just working on what you see here. I will be sharing a quick recap soon on some of the changes I made!

EASTER ON THE FRONT PORCH

I didn’t do much for Easter on the porch this year. Just a cute wreath and rug!
