SUMMER SELF CARE
We’ve got our first two weeks of summer under our belt and honestly, time is flying! This week I decided to be intentional and have a summer self care moment and got some flowers, treated myself to a Starbucks Iced Coffee and spent a few minutes reading. Summer is a marathon, not a sprint, so I need to make sure I can keep my patience and positivity going with these little self care moments.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Is there anything better than a week of VBS to kick off the summer? The boys had fun and I enjoyed volunteering and I will ALWAYS treasure this special week every year with the boys at our church home.
SUMMER STYLE

With two active boys, it seems we are always out and about finding new adventures! So even if I am not “exercising” I need to be in clothes suitable for lots of activities. Athletic Chic is basically what I live in and definitely my go-to summer wardrobe. I recently bought the Spanx Skort in white and I love the fun flounce and that is has POCKETS! I could literally grab for it every day. The other addition to my “Athletic Chic” wardrobe is Lululemon belt bag. And yes, that is a cool way to saying fanny pack. What can I say, it just makes sense. 
SWIM TEAM SEASON
If you see this picture, and you get it, you have experienced the extreme chaos, excitement and FUN of a swim meet. If you haven’t ever had the pleasure- this is what the bullpen looks like when the kids have left their waiting area and are lining up to swim their race. Towels, bags, shoes, clothes, snacks, games. Imagine this for about 100 kids!
LUGGAGE SPRUCE UP
I’ve been using the same weekender road trip bag since we got married 17 years ago! It was a wedding present and is Vera Bradley and is still in perfect condition. However, I have recently been upgrading and switching things up and this is my current road trip set up. I’m going with all black, white and neutral tan. I’ll never get rid of my old faithful weekender bag, but it’s been fun to mix and match and hunt down some new pieces. The most recent addition is this simple garment bag– it comes in a two pack and so my husband has a matching one. I fit TONS in it last week for our Florida road trip.

NEW KITCHEN APPLIANCE
I finally ordered an Air Fryer. After over a year of my friends and family telling me I needed one! Do you have one? Do you love it? I am a little intimidated but plan to jump right in to using it! Let me know your favorite recipe!
CAMP COUNTDOWN
Both boys will be attending overnight camp this summer! Their trunks have arrived and we are working on their packing lists. We found some fun stickers last week at the beach. I can’t wait for them to experience camp!
